Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey on monthly billing. We're feeding your input back to our internal teams. Based on the feedback and recent launches for the Google Apps Reseller Program, we ran a series of sessions to share experiences we've gathered. The first session focused on a review and the advantages of monthly billing (links topresentation and recording). One of those advantages is the ability to bring more products to your customers, so the second session focused on selling Drive and Drive storage which shared experiences from our own sales experts (links to presentation and recording).
You can migrate to monthly billing by going to your reseller tools console: is-alliance.net. For those who are already on the monthly billing system, you can also enable your reseller tools to sell Drive.
We believe the content will help you further understand these changes and enable you to deliver an even greater experience to your Google Apps customers, so we strongly encourage you to review the material if you couldn't attend. With the new monthly billing system, everything is still the same, but better:What is changing is that you and your customers get more choice:
- You still get 20% reseller margin on Annual or Flex Plans.
- You still get credit for all your customers paid to date.
- You still own the customer billing relationship. On the new billing system, we will be billing you on a monthly basis. However, you are free to set up any billing terms or cycle (annual, monthly, quarterly) that you and your customers wish.
And as you continue to explore and sell Drive, consider the following advantages as shared by our sales and partner teams:
- More products for your customers (Drive storage now, more coming soon!).
- More flexible customer payment, with reduced liability.
- More room for bigger customers.
- More predictable monthly recurring revenue (MRR) for your business.
