From: Google Apps <apps-solution-providers-noreply@google.com>Subject: Google Apps Resellers: New Support PortalDate: 16 December, 2011 5:29:43 AM GMT+04:00
Hello Oleg,
One of our goals is to help you support your customers adopting Google Apps. To improve your experience, we recently opened up 24x7 phone support for all issues affecting the Google Apps for Business core services.
Now we're excited to introduce you to the new Reseller Support Portal. This portal gives Google Apps resellers 1) the ability to submit cases on behalf of your customers and 2) the ability to view and manage cases directly submitted by customers. This new Reseller Support Portal will eventually replace the current Google Enterprise Support Portal in the latter half of 2012. At that time, you will no longer have access to the Google Enterprise Support Portal and must use the Reseller Support Portal.
Why use the new Reseller Support Portal?
- You can now view and track Google Apps support cases submitted by your customers, so you'll have a full view of a customer's open cases and case history.
- You can access the new portal using the same login credentials that you use to access your reseller tools console, thereby giving your staff a single sign-on experience between the ordering tools and Reseller Support portal.
- Your existing Google Apps open cases and case history are already available in the Reseller Support portal.
How do I access the Reseller Support Portal?
You can find a link to the new Reseller Support Portal in the "Resources for resellers" section of your Reseller Tools console here:
https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/is-alliance.net/ResellerSupport
Please see the Reseller Support Portal FAQ for more information and how to give feedback. We welcome your input and look forward to continuing to improve your support experience!
Sincerely,
Google Apps Reseller Team You have received this mandatory email service announcement to update you about important changes to your Google Apps reseller program account.

Building your Practice around Google Apps
From: "Google Apps" <apps-solution-providers-noreply@google.com>Subject: Building your Practice around Google AppsDate: 1 September, 2011 3:23:31 PM EDT
Hello Oleg,
This month, we are excited to bring you a number of resources that will help you grow your business, including a recorded webinar on building a practice around Google Apps and video testimonials of partners that have successfully done so. And we've got resources to help you position Google Apps with prospects and customers including content on mobile support, trusting Google with business data, and a Google Apps video to embed in your website. We also invite you to our weekly webinar on the reseller program and provide links to the latest feature updates.
Google Apps Reseller Team ResourcesBuilding a Web Practice around Google Apps
We recently delivered this webinar with Redmond Channel Partner for an audience of prospective Google Apps resellers. In it Jeff Ragusa walks through some of the ways our successful partners have built a practice around Google Apps and are driving customers toward 100% web.
New "reseller-friendly" Google Apps introductory video
We noticed that the short videos on our product website have links to our own sign up flow and reference our list pricing, making them awkward for our partner community to use. So we removed those elements in this Google Apps introductory video and now you can share it with prospects without causing confusion. It focuses on the value of the Google Apps suite, showing the power of messaging and collaboration for teams and businesses. Embed the video in your web site by copying the code.

New Look and Changes to Your Google Apps Services
Dear Google Apps Admin,
Over the next months, Google is rolling out a new look and feel across its products, including Google Apps services such as Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sites. Following is information about the rollout and steps to take for your account.
How will the changes affect my Google Apps users?
We'll release interface updates on an ongoing basis, initially to consumers—with some services offering an opt-in/opt-out option for Google Apps users. For example, you can take a look at the new Gmail in progress by selecting a special Preview theme. Over the next months, the changes will become permanent for all users.
The rollout will follow the Google Apps Release Track process (learn more). Administrators can choose the Rapid Release track to adopt the new look at roughly the same time as consumers. Or they can choose the Scheduled Release track to receive changes later and take more time to prepare for the transition.
What's available now?
The new look is available in the following apps:
What do I need to do?
- Gmail: Consumer, Rapid Release, and Scheduled Release users can preview through a special theme
- Calendar: Consumer, Rapid Release, and Scheduled Release users can try out
- Documents List: Consumer and Rapid Release users can try out
We're very interested in what you think about think about the new look, and welcome your feedback!
- See what's new: We encourage you to preview the new look over the next few weeks to gain familiarity with upcoming changes. See the What's New site for instructions to try out the latest interfaces in Gmail, Calendar, and Docs.
- Review your current release track settings: Administrators who choose the Scheduled Release track will have more time after the Rapid Release date before changes become available to their users. Depending on your needs you may want to update the release track setting in your Google Apps control panel.
- Notify your users: On the New Look page of the What's New site, you'll find email templates, videos, and slide decks to help communicate the upcoming changes with your users.
How can I keep up to date?
On the Google Apps What's New site, you'll find information about the release process, the latest on the new look, and resources for you and your users.
Sincerely,
The Google Apps Team
